LOVE IT!!!!!. Sportsman's has a great vibe and great people. Their food is spectacular and the bartenders are great. I love this place and reccomend it to all.

Great food and service!. This is one of my favorite places in Evansville. The staff are all really friendly and they can make some pretty good drinks! The food is all freshly made (including the hand-breaded mushrooms, the homemade slaw and chicken salad, just to name a few.) They use homegrown vegetables and herbs when possible, which is somewhat unexpected for a tavern. Our favorites include the marinated chicken breast sandwich (marinated in french dressing), the hand-cut french fries, and the t-bone steak special (which is a steal at $10, and includes a huge serving of fries!) The crowd ranges from college age to senior citizens, and there is usually some sporting event playing on one of the tv's.

I loved the look and vibe of this place. I felt right at home. The only downside was a lack of liquor options. I will be going back to experience more that this bar and it's amazing staff have to offer.
